Description
These will bolt Kirkey style 55s into a C3 Corvette. Brackets are made of powder coated 11 Ga steel that is CNC Plasma. Weighs 3 lbs 8 oz per set without fasteners. Upper holes can be enlarged to use Dzus fasteners for faster seat removal. Comes with Grade 8 hardware to mount the bracket to the seat and floor. Sold as a pair per seat. The back of the seat should be supported per NHRA if there is a roll bar.
*Special considerations for corvette C3 mounts* Due to the limited space in these cars the HRS C3 corvette seat mounts are mounted to the front and rear of the seat to lower the seat as much as possible. There is no front to back adjustability of this mount. A 17″ seat is the largest seat that will fit in the car. If you have a roll cage I would even consider a 16″ seat otherwise you may not have enough room without modifying the seat or repositioning it. C3 corvettes we’re inconsistent with the rear mounting hole positions. If yours do not line up you will have to add new ones (make sure they are supported with steel under the car, fiberglass only will not protect you).
