Description
These are hand made so allow 2-3 weeks after ordering. I start with an aluminum 14″ base that gets the raised edge trimmed off then modified for USA-made Quick-Latches. The base brackets bolt to the intake and clear carb linkage and valve cover removal. Removed quickly by just pressing the 2 spring-loaded buttons. Setup to clear thick double base gaskets.
Note:
1. When installing on intake use washers to protect the aluminum brackets.
2. When adjusting quick release latches, leave some spring travel in the “latched” condition or it will be difficult to remove.
