These swing outs are my own design and something I’ve been wanting to make for a while! If you’ve used the generic billet swing out kits you know they have a very loose fit and don’t accommodate a backstop as required by NHRA. I fixed both of those problems!
They have a close machine fit to minimize bar drop when swinging them out and they are machined in a way that they dead stop when closed so they can’t injury you incase the pin fails or was left out.
As a bonus I even machined a 55 degree ramp on them so they stop before swinging into a fully opened door and beating it up! Fits 1-5/8″ X .083 tube.
Machined from 1045 steel and comes with a Grade 8 bolt, nut and quick pin to finish it off. Order 2 sets to do both doors!
