Description
I originally made these to help layout headers but they work with roll cages or anything else where you need to layout an angular rotation on a tube. The large marks that are raised up and high lighted are at every 45 degrees. On sizes 1.50″ and larger the small marks are every 5 degrees. This is changed to 9 degrees on 1.25″ and smaller sizes (lack of room).
To use it you just snap the tool over the tube and align with your 0 degree mark then find your target and mark with a fine tip sharpie. The tool sits flush on the table to help hold the tube in place.
The 45 degree increments do not come highlighted as shown in my examples. This can be easily copied with a silver sharpie or paint marker.
