Developed from years of real-world use on our own race cars, the HRS Spring Slider Wheelie Bar is a high-quality solution designed to help control wheel stands and provide a smoother, more predictable launch.

The standard wheelie bar is designed to mount to any 3" axle housing tubes at a 22" mounting width, with custom widths available.  Its targeted more towards a small tire car on stock style suspension and needs the wheelie bar on the rear end tubes.

At the heart of the system is our in-house designed spring slider assembly. Rather than using an off-the-shelf slider and spring, we designed the assembly around our own high-compression-rate spring specification. The larger slider assembly provides 4" of travel at the wheel, allowing the wheelie bar to progressively control the car instead of abruptly upsetting the chassis when the wheel contacts the track.

Wheelie Bar Setup

Wheel height should be adjusted so that if the spring slider reaches the end of its available travel, the wheelie bar cannot physically contact the underside of the car.

Proper wheelie bar height and setup will vary depending on the vehicle, suspension, power level, track conditions, and desired launch characteristics.
