Selecting a Roll Cage

Choosing the right cage for you car depends on how fast you want to go and the maximum weight of the car.  Here are some options we can accomodate.

Roll Bar - A good starting point that will let you run down to 11.00  It saves having to run A-Pillar bars and works well with a street car.  The main draw back is material must be 1.75" DOM instead of the lighter 1.625" chromoly that we build our cages to.

8.50 Roll Cage - The most popular option we see.  Lets you run down to 8.50 seconds in the quarter with no weight restriction and can be built in the car.  We offer several custom fits kits like this in 1.625" chromoly.

FULL BODIED CAR S.F.I. Specs

The next step up is usually a 25.5 chassis for Full Bodied Car with Stock or Modified Floorpan and Firewall with OEM Frame or Uni-Body Construction – 7.50 to 8.49 Seconds; 3,600 lbs. Maximum

A round tube chassis version of this is 25.4D – 7.50 to 8.49 Seconds; 3,600 lbs. Maximum

For something heavy like a truck SFI Spec 25.6A Full Bodied Car Stock / Truck or Modified/OEM Floorpan and Firewall with OEM Frame or Uni-Body Construction would apply – 7.99 to 8.49 Seconds; 5,000 lbs. Maximum

If you want to go faster than the above specs the next three are your options.

SFI Spec 25.2E Full Bodied Car Tube Chassis – 6.00 to 7.49 Seconds ET; 3,200 lbs. Maximum or 25.3D is nearly the same but has a 3,600 lbs. Maximum
