Kirkey 55 and 38 Series SeatMounts for 1968-1974 2nd gen Chevy II and Nova

These seat mount brackets are designed specifically to install Kirkey Pro Street Series 38 and 55 seats in 1968–1974 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova models equipped with factory bucket seat mounts. Unlike many competing brackets, these mounts are designed to fit under the seat, providing a cleaner, lower-profile installation.

Manufactured from CNC plasma-cut 11-gauge steel and finished in a durable black textured powder coat, these brackets are built for strength, durability, and years of dependable service. Multiple floor mounting holes provide up to 3 inches of front-to-back seat adjustment, making it easy to fine-tune your driving position.

The upper mounting holes can be enlarged to accept Dzus® fasteners for quick seat removal.

Vehicles Originally Equipped with a Bench Seat

If your Chevy II or Nova was originally equipped with a bench seat, you'll need to install the factory-style inner bucket seat floor brackets before using these mounts.

This not only provides the correct mounting points but also helps meet NHRA requirements, which do not allow racing seats to be bolted directly to the sheet-metal floor pan.

For proper fitment, the front and rear mounting studs should measure 14.125" center-to-center, matching the factory bucket seat spacing.

If your vehicle is equipped with a roll bar or roll cage, the seat back should be properly supported in accordance with current NHRA rules.
